Keiser University Model United Nations

What is a Model United Nations?
A Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations where participants take on the role of a delegate from a given country and attempt to solve global problems using the policies and perspectives of the country they represent.

Participating in a Model United Nations is learning by doing. You will learn about global issues and put your problem-solving skills into practice while debating topics such as gender equality, global security, human rights, climate action, global health, and more.

Keiser University Model United Nations (KUMUN) is a United Nations Simulation organized by Keiser University Latin American Campus.

At KUMUN, we believe in being a prestigious and benchmark event, where high school students can develop their leadership, public speaking, problem-solving, diplomacy, and critical thinking skills, and have a space to network with students from other schools.

The KUMUN organizing team is convinced that through these types of conferences we will collaborate with our society´s development because this will empower the youth to raise their voices and become aware of the current challenges our world is facing.

About KUMUN
Vision
KUMUN seeks to create an academic debate where high school students can, through a United Nations simulation, discuss the most relevant problems surrounding our society and seek solutions to those problems. We want KUMUN to be a space where student can develop their leadership abilities, enrich their knowledge, and improve their principles of tolerance and respect.
Mission
KUMUN hopes to gather high school students at academic events, provide them with an enriching diplomatic debate, and teach leadership and problem-solving skills. Through dialogue, negotiation, tolerance, and sharing of ideas, we strive to help students develop political, social, and cultural awareness qualifications fundamental in today´s world.
